- Place the jack under the vehicle on the frame rails; the specific lifting points can be found in your owner’s manual. You can then raise the vehicle stably with the jack until the tyre you’re replacing is off the ground.
- Remove the loosened nuts and take off the tyre from the hub.
- Replace this with a new tyre and tighten the nuts. You can then lower the vehicle to tighten the nuts further.
How do I find out the size of the tyre on my Toyota Hilux?
To find out the size of the tyres currently fitted to your Hilux, simply check the tyre sidewall where you’ll find the following:
- Width in millimetres
- Aspect ratio
- R (radial construction)
- Diameter of the wheel
