Polyurethane is a flexible, resilient and highly durable engineering plastic and therefore offers enhanced performance in comparison to rubber alternatives. There are three main polyurethane grades; polyether, polyester, polycaprolactone. However the majority of our polyurethane bushes are polyester based as these in particular offer excellent abrasion resistance and high chemical and oil resistance. Due to their good balance of physical properties, polyesters also provide excellent damping solutions such as shock and vibration absorbers. The materials utilised offer enhanced durability, outperforming more traditional materials, such as rubbers.
