An air flow mass sensor to fit a Ford Ranger ER24, ER61, ER69 and FE40 2002-2011
This air flow mass meter is located on the pipework leading to the air filter and will fit Ford Rangers with a 2.5 or 3.0 Diesel Engine fitted
The mass air flow (MAF) sensor, part of your vehicle's electronic fuel injection system, is responsible for calculating the total amount of air entering the engine. The MAF sensor measures air weight in grams per second and air temperature and if either of those two are off then the ECU may command a leaner or a richer mixture. If the MAF sensor is not working This may cause the engine computer to miscalculate the amount of injected fuel, causing additional damage to your engine
